ABOUT US

Remember back when the Internet exploded onto the scene in the mid 1990s? We do too. We got all excited and coded our first website becoming one of the first businesses in Indianapolis to have a website. What interested us the most was that this was an extension of our existing business – print publishing, something that we have been doing for 35 years.

Our history is suggested by our name. Photo Comp Graphic Communication was created in 1972 when “photo composition” typesetting was first introduced. As we grew and diversified, we have seen typesetting go through several evolutions.  In the 1980s, it became more computerized with the advent of personal computers and early word processing. A few years later, desktop publishing programs such as Pagemaker and Quark using a Macintosh quickly became the standard which prevails today. During those years, we typeset catalogs, books, magazines, and slide presentations for large companies throughout the area.

Then along came the Internet, and since then we have been involved both in creating websites for companies and continuing to create artwork and files for traditional printing. In the past few years, we have translated and designed websites into other languages so companies could sell their products and services around the world.

How can we use our expertise in developing websites and graphics to help you sell your products and services both here and around the world?
